Are your hands giving away your age with loss of volume? Radiesse® can help!
Radiesse® is a filler known for its ability to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. However, it can also be used to correct volume loss in the back of the hands. Read on to learn more about this filler.
Raidesse® is the only filler FDA-approved to correct volume loss in the hands.
This filler can provide natural-looking results by stimulating your own body’s collagen production. This helps to reduce the appearance of tendons and veins that can cause the hands to appear aged.
Who is a good candidate for Radiesse®?
If you have noticed that your hands have lost volume or are starting to look their age, you may be able to benefit from hand rejuvenation with Radiesse®. If you have a history of bleeding disorders, sever allergies, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should not receive these injections.
What to expect
Before undergoing any procedure, a consultation with Dr. Partington or Dr. Windle is needed. There, you can discuss your treatment options and go over any questions you may have. During your treatment session, Radiesse® will be injected into the back of your hand to add volume in hollow looking areas. Results are immediate and long lasting, up to a year; so monthly touch-ups are not necessary.
One of the many perks of Radiesse® is that there is no downtime associated with it! This means that you can return to your everyday activities directly after your treatment session. You may notice bruising, redness, or itching at the injection sites, though an icepack can help to relieve these side effects.
Your Radiesse hand treatment will range in price between $1,300 – $2,000 depending on the amount of syringes needed.
