 Eye Lid Lift (Blepharoplasty)

The eyes are the window to the soul

  1. Do you feel as though you look tired when you’re not?
  2. When you apply make-up, do you feel like you spend more time trying to correct  flaws than you do accentuating attributes around your eyes?
  3. Do you want to look fresher, more rested and more youthful?

You may want to consider an upper and/or lower eye lift (Blepharoplasty)

About Eye Lid Lift (Blepharoplasty) Surgery

Blepharoplasty is a procedure which rejuvenates the eye area. A well done eye lid lift can remove saggy skin and bags from below and/or above the eyes and take years off your appearance.

Costs and Financing

Total cost for Blepharoplasty generally varies between $3,500.00 and $5,200.00. Fees depend on what area of the eye you are doing: upper lids, lower lids or both. This fee includes pre and post op appointments, the surgical fee and anesthesia.  We understand that financing is a concern for many people and an important part of the decision making process.  We offer several options for financing and will work with you on a surgical and financing plan that suits your needs.

About the Surgery

The Blepharoplasty procedure is a fairly short procedure depending on if you’re having your upper eyelids, lower eyelids or both and depending on your individual circumstances. Incisions are made as inconspicuously as possible in the lash line, in the natural creases of the eye and, less often, inside the lower eyelid.  Scars will fade into very fine lines over time and incisions on the face tend to heal very well. Fat may may be carefully removed around the eyes if necessary and excess skin is trimmed away. Very fine sutures are used to close the incisions.

About the Recovery

During your procedure (or even during the procedure), an ointment will be applied to your eyes to prevent them from drying out and also provides antibiotic protection. The area around your eyes will be swollen for a few days and you may have some bruising as well.  For 7 to 10 days after the surgery you will need to clean the eye area and eye drops may be recommended.  You may be asked to apply cold compresses and sleep and relax with your head somewhat elevated to help with swelling. Stitches that were used are removed in three to five days and self-absorbing stitches dissolve on their own over time. You will be prescribed medication for any discomfort.
